I’m still at the vise and finished another fly order this week. I’m almost caught up with my fly orders, which is a good thing because we’re leaving on another trip in two weeks. More on that later.
This was a small order consisting of Art Flick’s Red Quill pictured above and the Delaware Adams.
My customer found me on the web because I featured these flies a few years ago in Throw Back Thursday Flies. I enjoyed tying them again.
The weather gods must have been watching my customer list and told me to stay home from the river to finish tying these flies. The weather changed and it actually snowed here yesterday!
Rather than head to the river, I stayed home and created a couple of fly tying videos. I posted one yesterday and will post the other soon.
Here is a link to my RiverKeeper Flies YouTube channel where I demonstrate how I tie Flick’s Red Quill.
Enjoy…go fish!
Just watched your video really well done
That Delaware Adams is awesome looking. I have never seen such a cool
looking bug.
