Here is the fly pattern sheet for Art Flick’s Red Quill.

Materials

Hook:

Daiichi 1100 or 1180, #12 – 16

Thread:

Danville 6/0, olive (I’ve used orange thread for the head as a customer requested)

Wing:

Wood Duck

Tail:

Medium dun hackle

Body:

Stripped hackle from Road Island Red rooster (I’ve used hackle from Charlie Collins Hackle Farm)

Hackle:

Medium dun hackle
