Images From the Water

If you were paying attention, you might have noticed I didn’t create a Throw Back Thursday Fly post a couple of weeks ago. It’s the first time that’s happened in almost 9 years. I decided I didn’t have the time to complete one because I was busy with other things and decided not to stress about completing one at the last minute. I’ve thought about it and going forward, you’ll see fewer of them. Instead, you’ll see images from the water I’ve been taking with my Nikon cameras.

I’m really enjoying taking more photographs on my daily fly fishing outings. You’ll be seeing more images of what I find around the water I fish. It might be bugs hatching, scenery, and of course some fish.

I’ll still feature a few older flies on occasion because I enjoy that aspect of fly fishing as well.

Rather than continue in my “storytelling” style, I’ll post more images than words.

So here goes…

Green Drakes

The images of Green Drakes floating on the water are incredibly difficult to capture using my 100-400 mm zoom lens as the current quickly carries them downstream.
