Here is the fly pattern sheet for a Purple Haze.


Materials
Hook:
Daiichi 1180, #12 – 20
Thread:
Gray
Post:
Poly
Tail:
Moose body hair
Body:
Purple dubbing
Hackle:
Brown and grizzly
Directions
- Attach thread behind eye and wind halfway down hook. Wind thread halfway back towards eye. You’re now at the ¼ point.
- Post poly.
- Tie in both hackles around hook and up post.
- Tie in moose body hair.
- Dub tapered body to hook eye.
- Wind hackle down post and tie off.
- Whip finish.
