Stalcup identifies the following color options for other flies – tan (tan CDC), olive (dun CDC), and Adams (brown and gray CDC).

I tied the fly after watching this YouTube video on my friend John Sherry’s channel, NetKnots Fly Tying channel. While its description is for a Midge Larva, the materials and technique is exactly as described in Stalcup’s book.
