Personal tying notes:

  • The original fly pattern calls for Bronze Mallard. The YouTube video below utilizes Mallard dyed Wood Duck.
  • YouTube instructions doesn’t use copper wire for rib. Instead, they use thread.
  • The original fly pattern doesn’t use legs.
