This is a picture of the Silver Lady tied by Roderick Haig-Brown from the International Federation of Fly Fisher’s Museum in Livingston, MT.

Materials

Hook:

TMC 7999 or Dai Riki 2929, size 6 – 8

Thread:

Danville 6/0, black

Tail:

Small matching golden pheasant tippet feathers

Body:

Flat silver tinsel

Hackle:

Badger

Wing:

Four fibers of bronze peacock sword, teal strips, and two badger hackles along these. Alternate – two blue hackles, paired teal strip, golden pheasant center tail and wood duck flank.

Topping:

Golden pheasant tippet

Cheeks:

Pale blue chatterer
