Roy’s Special Emerger

Here is the fly pattern sheet for Roy’s Special Emerger.

Materials

Directions

1. Begin thread on hook and tie in tail materials. Continue winding back to point above hook barb.
2. Tie in wing at hook barb.
3. Dub body 2/3 of way forward.
4. Pull wing material over body, creating a loose wing. Trim butts.
5. Tie in grizzly hackle and take 3 – 4 wraps.
6. Tie off hackle and trim.
7. Whip finish.
