Hook:
Daiichi 1130, Dai Riki, 125 or TMC 2488 #20
Thread:
8/0 Uni, olive dun
Trailing shuck:
Mayfly brown Zelon
Body:
Working thread
Thorax:
Peacock
Hackle:
Grizzly

Materials
Hook:

Working thread
Thorax:
Superfine dubbing, tan
Hackle:
White, light dun, or light grizzly
Directions:
- Begin thread on hook and attach tail material. Continue winding thread around bend of hook.
- Wind thread forward with touching turns just past hook point.
- Attach a couple pieces of peacock and wrap thorax with 2 – 3 turns. Tie off and trim.
- Select hackle one size smaller than hook size, tie in and complete 2 – 3 wraps. Tie off and trim.
- Whip finish to complete fly.
