Materials

Hook:

MFC 7204 wide gape jig hook, #14 – 18

Thread:

70 denier or 8/0 white or black

Tail:

Coq de Leon

Rib:

Small silver wire

Body:

Pheasant tail

Thorax hot spot:

Veevus Body Quill – fluorescent orange (BQ14 – Hareline code BQ137)

Wing pad:

Black UV resin or fingernail polish

Optional: Use Veevus Body Quill – brown (BQ 8) for body rather than pheasant tail. (Hareline #BQ40)
