Materials

Hook:

MFC 7204 wide gape jig hook, size 14 – 18

Bead:

Tungsten – copper 3.8 mm

Thread:

70 denier or 8/0 white or black

Tail:

Coq de leon

Rib:

Small silver wire

Body:

Pheasant tail

Thorax hotspot

Veevus Body Quill – fluorescent orange (BQ14)

Wing pad:

Black resin or fingernail polish

Optional: Use Veevus Body Quill – brown (BQ 8) for body rather than pheasant tail.
